Major flash flooding submerges part of Texas after a wave of thunderstorms march through the state.

Video from O’Donnell, Texas, which is south of Lubbock, shows a large truck and cars submerged on Highway 87 on Thursday, June 1 because of heavy rainfall. Watch the video below.

The National Weather Services says 3 to 5 inches of rain fell within an hour making the roads impassable.

Parts of West Texas and communities near Lubbock are dealing with downpours of rain and localized flash flooding.
