After dealing with historic heat and drought conditions all summer long, rain finally arrived in a big way for east Texas. Look at some of the significant rainfall totals between Aug. 21-22.

Not only did the heavy rainfall lead to widespread flash flooding across the region, but it broke several records at DFW Airport, including the second-wettest 24-hour period on record.
