Some areas have reported more rain in 8 months than we typically receive in an entire year, and the rainfall over the past 48 hours has been particularly heavy leading to major damage and unfortunately an injury and a death.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Sunday night for El Paso.
This is in response to an upper-level low parked over the area right now. Unfortunately, scattered rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast almost every day next week.
