AUSTIN, Texas — Rodeo Austin announced its concert lineup for this year’s event, which kicks off on March 14.
Since 1938, Rodeo Austin has been one of the city’s premier events. This year’s event will take place from March 14 through March 29 and will feature not only daily concerts but also a ProRodeo, carnival and livestock show.
To start off the festivities, Jon Wolfe and Walker Montogomery will perform for “Kick Open The Chutes” on March 14, which Rodeo Austin describes as a “party on the dirt” that kicks off the 15-day event at the Travis County Exposition Center. Along with the musical entertainment, there will be food trucks and a cash bar on the arena floor.
Every day following the kick-off concert, there will be a different musical act performing until the rodeo closes out on March 29 with the band Southall performing at the ProRodeo Finals.
Concert-goers can look forward to musical acts like Yellowstone actor and musician Luke Grimes, Walker Hayes–who is known for his hit single “Fancy Like”–and five-time Grammy Award-winning group La Mafia.
