DALLAS — Plano, Texas-based Frito-Lay is recalling 13-ounce bags of Lay's Classic potato chips.
The recall is for the bags of chips sold in Washington and Oregon.
The presence of undeclared milk ingredients in the chips led to the recall.
The recalled bags will have a guaranteed fresh date of Feb. 11, 2025, on the front of the bag, and the specific manufacturing codes are 6462307xx or 6463307xx.
These chips were available for purchase starting Nov. 3, 2024.
The recall does not include other Lay’s products, flavors, sizes or variety packs.
Consuming the recalled product poses a risk of serious, even life-threatening allergic reactions for people with milk allergies or sensitivities, Frito-Lay said.
