TEXAS – Looking for a fun event to bring holiday cheer? Texas will host a plethora of holiday concerts that will bring Christmas classics to life.
Here is a list of holiday concerts around the state of Texas:
Ballet Austin – The Nutcracker
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a performance of "The Nutcracker." This is the longest-running production of the classical ballet in the entire state of Texas.
The ballet features a timeless story of a young girl as she experiences dream-inspired adventures through a twinkling winter wonderland to the Court of the Sugar Plum Fairy. The ballet includes detailed costumes and sets along with a live accompaniment by the Austin Symphony Orchestra.
The ballet begins on Dec. 6 and lasts until Dec. 23 at The Long Center in Austin. Single-ticket prices range from $20 to $125.

Tran-Siberian Orchestra: The Lost Christmas Eve tour
The Tran-Siberian Orchestra is making its way to Austin once again to kick off holiday celebrations. On Dec. 4 at 7 p.m., the holiday rock band will perform at the Moody Center.
The Lost Christmas Eve tour will tell musical stories through lasers, pyrotechnics and instrumentals.

Charlie Brown Christmas at the Paramount Theatre
The Paramount Theatre in Austin will host a stage adaptation of the "A Charlie Brown Christmas" TV special on Dec. 7.
The performance will feature music from the holiday classic and more.

Pentatonix: Hallelujah! T’s Christmas tour
The Grammy Award-winning a cappella group will make its way to American Airlines Center on Dec. 22 to bring their holiday classics to life. Pentatonix’s holiday tradition returns with the group’s biggest Christmas tour yet.

Elf in Concert
Buddy the Elf will be visiting Dallas at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center from Dec. 20-27 at 7:30 p.m.
The live orchestra will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the classic Will Ferrell film by bringing the soundtrack to a live audience.

Merry Christmas From Christmases Past with the Singapore Slingers
Matt Tolentino and the Singapore Slingers will continue their annual holiday celebration with Christmas-inspired rags, pop tunes and jazz performances.
The concert will take place on Dec. 9 and 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pocket Sandwich Theatre. Dinner will be served at the show.

Candlelight: Christmas Carols on Strings
The yuletide concert will feature all-time favorite carols played by a string quartered in a candlelit venue.

The performance will take place on Dec. 14, 21 and 22 at The Josephine Theatre in San Antonio. Tickets begin at $32 and can be purchased here.
Jose Hernandez’ Merry-Achi Christmas
Mariachi Sol de Mexico, an iconic mariachi band, will present their annual Merry Achi Christmas Concert in San Antonio at the H-E-B Performance Hall on Dec. 20 at 8 p.m.
The group’s 13-piece ensemble will play the traditional Mexican carols of the holiday.
