PLANO, Texas — Haggard Park is expected to be filled with thousands this weekend for the 20th Annual Plano International Festival.

The festival will include an assortment of art, music, food, children’s activities and live performances. The event is free and open to the public on Saturday, Oct. 19.

According to the festival’s website, the event is the largest and longest-running multicultural festival in North Texas. The festival is organized by volunteers and takes roughly 4,800 hours of volunteer time. The festival’s mission is to meet the needs of the Plano community and offer people in North Texas an opportunity to enjoy and learn from other cultures.

The festival is expected to kick off at 11 a.m. with the Parade of Flags and expected to wrap up at 4:45 p.m. with the North Texas Performing Arts group. For the full schedule and booths at the festival, visit here.

There is free public parking available throughout downtown Plano near Haggard Park.
