AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin City Limits Music Festival kicks off Friday, but there have been some last-minute changes to the lineup.

What You Need To Know

  • The festival announced on X, formerly Twitter, that Caamp would no longer be performing at ACL and Elyanna will only take the stage during weekend two, performing in Caamp’s time slot

  • This isn’t the first lineup change featuring Caamp. The folk band was previously scheduled to hit the stage both Sundays of the two-weekend festival at 6:45 p.m., but they were switched to a Saturday late afternoon time slot with pop phenom Chappell Roan

  • After getting some backlash, Roan canceled two appearances at the All Things Go festival in New York and Washington, D.C., sparking questions about whether she would cancel even more future concerts, including her ACL appearance

  • But things are looking up for fans of the “Hot to Go!” and “Pink Pony Club” singer, as she was back on the road Tuesday performing in Franklin, Tennessee

The festival announced on X, formerly Twitter, that Caamp–a folk trio from Ohio–would no longer be performing at ACL and Elyanna–a Palestinian-Chilean singer-songwriter–will only take the stage during weekend two, performing in Caamp’s time slot.

This isn’t the first lineup change featuring Caamp. The folk band was previously scheduled to hit the stage both Sundays of the two-weekend festival at 6:45 p.m., but they were switched to a Saturday late afternoon time slot with pop phenom Chappell Roan.

Roan, who rocketed to stardom after the release of her album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess,” has experienced some controversy in recent weeks after she posted a video on social media saying she would not, at this time, be endorsing a presidential candidate because there are “problems on both sides.”

After getting some backlash from the post, Roan canceled two appearances at the All Things Go festival in New York and Washington, D.C., sparking questions about whether she would cancel even more future concerts, including her ACL appearance.

“I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health,” Roan said in a social media post. “I want to be present when I perform and give the best shows possible. Thank you for understanding. Be back soon xox.”

But things are looking up for fans of the “Hot to Go!” and “Pink Pony Club” singer, as she was back on the road Tuesday performing in Franklin, Tennessee.
