Starting in October, The Paramount Theatre will host its third annual “Panic at the Paramount,” a series of film screenings for fans of all things scary and gory.

The killer lineup has something for everyone — from classic slashers to dark comedies.

The series kicks off with a bloody double feature of Italian gore-fest “Demons” and the '90s cult classic “Popcorn” on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Then, on Thursday, Oct. 17, fans of psychological and socially conscious horror can enjoy screenings of “Rosemary’s Baby” starring Mia Farrow and “Candyman.”

Saturday, Oct. 19 is a slasher-lover's dream with two double features — a quadruple feature? — of “Halloween III: Season of the Witch” and “The Return of the Living Dead,” followed by “A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors” and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.” Those who dare to attend both double features will get a $5 discount.

Those looking for something on the lighter side can enjoy a showing of Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” in the afternoon, followed by evening screenings of campy, dark comedy “Death Becomes Her” and teen cult classic “Jawbreaker.”

The series ends with a double feature of Robert Rodriguez’s own 35mm print of “From Dusk Till Dawn” followed by a mystery movie hand-picked by the Texas filmmaker to be announced that night.

The Paramount reached record-breaking attendance numbers this past summer for its Summer Classic Film Series, with over 40,000 moviegoers in attendance.
