AUSTIN, Texas — Bask in the holiday cheer after your feast on Christmas Day with some holiday lights. There are plenty of light shows happening around Austin that will go on until at least New Year’s Day.

Here are a few places to take the whole family for some spectacular views and festive photo ops.

Zilker Holiday Tree

Through Jan. 1, Austinites can visit Zilker Park to set their gaze upon Austin’s beloved 155-foot Christmas tree. The tree has more than 3,000 lights that come to life nightly at 6 p.m.

Viewing is free.

Peppermint Parkway

Take a one-mile drive around Austin’s Formula 1 racetrack following characters Pepper and Mint. The trail takes you around a display of over 6 million lights.

Visitors will have access to fun rides, food trucks and a meet-and-greet with Santa himself at the end of the trail. Tickets can be found here.

Mozart’s Annual Christmas Light Show

On Lake Austin, you can be immersed into a light display at Mozart’s Coffee Roasters. With a cup of coffee in hand, light show viewers can also enjoy live music as they look out onto the water. Reserve a spot now until Jan 6.
