LAKEWAY, Texas — With just hours until Santa Claus arrives, The Lakeway Police Department was able to locate and arrest The Grinch.

The furry green suspect has been creating mischief around Lakeway for the past few weeks, but the police department was able to save Christmas for all those in Lakeway.

The department announced on Facebook that “The recent gifts he snuck away with on some area porches and unsecured vehicles the past few weeks have been returned to their owners.”

The department posted a video showing the Grinch in the parking lot, spotted by a motorcycle officer. The officer took him down and arrested him.
