SAN ANTONIO — You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch.

Some Texans are just not as holly and jolly as others. According to a new ranking by FinanceBuzz, San Antonio was named the Grinchiest city in the U.S.

The report looked at more than a dozen factors to determine which U.S. cities have the least holiday cheer, including the number of holiday events and festivals, the number of holiday markets, and the number of the population who donates to charity annually.

San Antonio, beating out everyone, has the lowest number of holiday events in the country. The Texas city also has only 45 events for every 100,000 residents, which is 75% below the national average of 185 events.

Two more Texas cities appeared on Santa’s naughty list.

Houston for having the least amount of holiday events, coming in at only 34.2 events per 100,000 residents.

Austin received the unfavorable naughty list placement for only having 37.7% of people per 100,000 who donate to charity every year.
