DALLAS — The Mayor of Flavortown himself, Guy Fieri, will be bringing his fried chicken franchise to Texas soon as he opens the latest Chicken Guy! location.

The chicken spot will be located in Dallas' Preston Hollow Village, a mixed-use development complex. The complex is already home to multiple restaurants and retail stores.

Chicken Guy! offers fried chicken tenders and specialty fried chicken sandwiches, such as a Korean barbecue sandwich, along with classic sides like fries and mac and cheese. They also offer a variety of sauces — 22 to be exact — created by Fieri.

According to the Chicken Guy! site, their chicken is "brined in fresh lemon juice, pickle brine and buttermilk, and infused with fresh herbs."

The restaurant also offers six different "Flavortown Shakes," with flavors like vanilla to more adventurous creations like an Apple Jacks shake.

The "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" host partnered with restaurateur Robert Earl — who is also the founder and CEO of Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas — to launch the first Chicken Guy! in 2018. There are currently 11 operating locations across the U.S., while seven are in the works.
