LEWISEVILLE, Texas — Millionaire Maker is the game, and a Lewisville resident’s life is no longer the same. All thanks to a scratch-off ticket, the anonymous winner has $1 million in the bank.
A Texas Lottery news release reported that the ticket was purchased from a RaceTrac at 640 W. FM 3040, in Lewisville. The town is about 30 miles from Dallas.
“This was the first of 15 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game,” per the Texas Lottery. “Millionaire Maker offers more than $200 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.54, including break-even prizes.”
There were also other lottery winners in Texas this month. Someone from Granbury won $1 million from the game of Million Dollar Loteria. And a Yoakum resident bagged a million dollars as well, with the scratcher game Ca$h Blowout.
