AUSTIN, Texas — Ready, set, play!

The anime and gaming convention, Dream Convention, affectionately named Dream Con, have announced their return to Austin in 2024.

Dream Con 2024 will take place July 26 - 28 at the Austin Convention Center and the Hilton Austin.

The convention drew over 22,000 attendees to the Austin Convention Center for the 2023 season, and consists of cosplay, exhibitors, panels, games, and more, according to Dream Con.

Convention go-ers can expect staples such as, an All-Star Super Smash Bros Tournament, Crew Battle, Dodgeball and Cosplay Contest and Runway.

Tickets for the 2024 convention go on sale this on Sept 15. at 7 p.m. There will also be opportunities to get tickets in January, March and June 2023.

The convention was started by a group of popular influencers, RDCWorld, which stands for stands for “Real Dreamers Change the World.” The group is most known for their viral comedy skits.
