AUSTIN, Texas — Ahead of the busy holiday season, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is launching a new service called SkySquad.

Starting Nov. 21, and just in time for the busy Thanksgiving holiday travel weekend, SkySquad will connect passengers with a trained airport assistant. This assistant will provide an extra pair of hands from the passenger’s curbside to their gate, including ticketing, checking bags, loading items onto the security belt and keeping an eye on travel items if they need to go to the restroom.

Passengers can book this service 24 hours in advance of their flight. To book visit the SkySquad website or you can call (877) 359-2256. If you are looking for more information on traveling this holiday season, you can head over to austintexas.gov.
