Austin, TEXAS — On Saturday, Oct. 1, CAIR-Austin, the Austin chapter of the council on American-Islamic relations, is hosting Austin’s first Muslim art and food festival. CAIR is a Muslim civil rights and advocacy group.
The festival will showcase performances, educational workshops, culturally relevant food, children’s activities and more. This first-ever historic festival will be in the heart of downtown Austin and will celebrate the culture and diversity of the American Muslim community.
This event will be from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the Mexican American Cultural Center, loctaed at 600 River St.
