ARLINGTON, Texas — A legendary BBQ festival is taking up shop at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, and Texas pitmasters are ready to bring the smoke come November. In a partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, the Q BBQ Fest will fire up about 30,000 Ibs of brisket, chicken, pulled pork and ribs from Nov. 4 to 6 for its debut in the DFW area.

“Nobody knows barbecue like Texas, and we can’t wait to host the finest cooks from across the country right here in our backyard,” said Stephen Jones, chief operating officer of the Dallas Cowboys. “We’re thrilled to bring this event to Arlington and can’t think of a better fit for Miller Lite®House to give local BBQ fans an immersive experience that they haven’t gotten here yet.”

The festival, presented by Miller Lite, has hosted events in Kansas City, St. Louis, Denver and Jacksonville. BBQ lovers can chomp on award-winning smoked meats at Miller Lite®House at AT&T Stadium. Over 10 world class pitmasters from Texas and around the country will be featured.

This weekend-long event celebrates diversity, award-winning cuisine, local music, BBQ tutorials and demonstrations, as well as games and family-friendly activities.

“There’s no better pairing than top-notch barbecue and great-tasting Miller Lite,” said Paul Stiff, Molson Coors Field’s marketing manager. “You could even say that Miller Lite is grilling-obsessed. Earlier this summer, we released our very own beer-infused charcoal for backyard pitmasters across the country. Now, we’re excited to switch gears and give Dallas-Ft. Worth locals a chance to try the best in barbecue from all 50 states at the Miller Lite®House.”

“We love smoking meat and putting smiles on people’s faces,” said Brian Wahby, owner and CEO of Eximius Productions, which produces Q BBQ Fest. “We launched Q BBQ Fest in 2015 and knew we had to wait for the perfect moment to come to the BBQ Capital of the World. Thanks to the Dallas Cowboys, that time is now, and we can’t wait for Dallas to taste the BBQ we’re bringing to AT&T Stadium this November.”

To chow down on unlimited BBQ, “Pit Passes” are available for purchase for $129 and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26. General admissions are $15 for guests ages 12 and up. Purchase tickets at QBBQDallas.com and seatgeek.com.
