WIMBERLEY, Texas — Swimming at Blue Hole Regional Park in Wimberley, Texas, has been suspended from Aug 1. until Aug. 15 due to unsafe swimming conditions. If bacteria and visibility conditions continue, the suspension will be extended for an additional two weeks.
According to the park’s Facebook page, it is possible that swimming at Blue Hole may be unavailable for the rest of the 2022 season. Conditions will continue to be monitored and the swimming status and reservations will be updated via email and social media.
Those with reservations will receive 100% refund for the next two weeks. People who privately reserved the swimming area will also receive a full refund. Refunds will be automatic and take five to 10 business days to process.
Other recreational activities at Blue Hole remain open, including hiking, biking trails, playgrounds and sports fields.
