ROUND ROCK, Texas — Heavy rains, wind and reports of tornadoes swept through the Central Texas area Monday. 

Round Rock police officers are currently assessing the damage caused by the reported tornado that moved through the city around 6 p.m. Police reported structural damage to multiple homes and businesses. Round Rock Mayor Craig Morgan and Police Chief Allen Banks addressing media said, there are no reported major injuries or confirmed fatalities. Most of the damage is structural. 

 

Greenlawn Blvd is shut down between Gattis School Road and Dell Way due to debris on the road. Two temporary shelter locations have been set up at Dell Diamond Heritage Center and Redbud Elementary School. Police are asking residents to stay home if they don't need to be on the road. 

Areas around Jarrell and Granger, Texas, are also reporting damage from the storm. Jarrell ISD is asking the public for donations for residents affected by the storm.
