TEXAS — With severe storms sweeping through Texas this afternoon with moderate chances of high winds and hail, some schools throughout Texas are releasing their students early and canceling activities.
Due to inclement weather Austin ISD all districtwide after-school activities are canceled today, March 21. This includes athletics, after-school care and any other events.
Fort Worth ISD canceled after-school activities for Monday, March 21.
Round Rock ISD. All after-school activities canceled.
Del Valle ISD will be releasing its high school students at 12:45 p.m., middle school students at 1:30 p.m. and elementary campuses at 2:30 p.m.
All Lake Travis ISD classes will be dismissed two hours early. All after-school events and late transportation services are canceled.
Manor ISD has early release for all students and also canceled its after-school programs and school board meeting. Bus transportation will still be provided.
