TEXAS — Two Texans are taking home recent multi-million-dollar Texas Lottery winnings. Both have decided to remain anonymous.
A San Antonio resident scored the top prize winning ticket worth $3 million in the scratch game 500X Loteria Spectacular. The person purchased the ticket at Pit Stop Food Mart #30, at 1530 W. Loop 1604 N., in San Antonio.
“This was the first of four top prizes worth $3 million to be claimed in this game. 500X Loteria Spectacular offers more than $199 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.10, including break-even prizes,” Texas Lottery officials said in a memo to Spectrum News 1.
A Mesquite resident claimed a $5 million-prize for the top winning ticket in the scratch game $5 Million Fortune. The person bought the ticket at Kroger 509, located at 4901 Maple Ave., in Dallas.
“This was the third of four top prizes worth $5 million to be claimed in this game. $5 Million Fortune offers more than $225 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.53, including break-even prizes,” lottery officials said.
