ARANSAS PASS, Texas — A water ban for Aransas Pass, issued on June 25 by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, was lifted Sunday.
The ban consisted of a “Do Not Consume” notice informing the community of a potential contamination related to the public water system. There was also a recommendation for no human consumption.
However, upon proper protocol by the public water system, lab results from TCEQ found the water to be safe for use and consumption.
