TEXAS — First lady Jill Biden and second gentleman Douglas Emhoff are expected to tour a couple of cities in Texas to promote vaccination efforts.

According to a press release, “These trips are part of the Administration’s nation-wide tour to reach millions of Americans who still need protection against the virus, highlight the ease of getting vaccinated, and mobilize grassroots vaccine education and outreach efforts.”

While first lady Biden is due to arrive in Dallas Tuesday to tour a vaccination site with former Dallas Cowboy and Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith at Emmett J. Conrad High School around 4:14 p.m. CDT, second gentleman Emhoff later that day will join her in Houston.

A vaccination event will take place at Minute Maid Park where the first lady and second gentleman will be joined by the Houston Astros at 6:45 p.m.

The next day, on Wednesday, they plan to continue their vaccination tour in Arizona.
