AUSTIN, Texas — Barton Springs Pool is reopening now that the soggy weather has let up in Central Texas. The pool will reopen on June 11 after a cleanup from recent flooding.
If you want to visit the pool in June, you’ll need to make a reservation. But that process is changing soon.
“The Aquatics Division plans to discontinue Barton Springs Pool reservations and will begin accepting in-person sales by the end of June,” the City of Austin’s website says.
The city is also looking for lifeguards for all of its public pools. You can apply here.
