SAN ANTONIO – It was a magical evening at the San Antonio Zoo on Friday.

The grounds transformed into a playground for kids of all ages for the Kids Zoo Ball.

Children dressed in their best attire were treated to carousel rides, face painting and a full-blown dance party. This year’s theme was Once Upon a Tail. Even parents got into the spirit, visiting with zoo animals and enjoying adult beverages at the timeout tent.

The goal was to teach younger generations about conservation and fundraising.
