SAN ANTONIO –The San Antonio Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire on the northwest part of the city Wednesday night.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Gus Eckert Road and Fredricksburg Road at a home. When authorities arrived on-scene, they found heavy flames coming from the building.

Downed power lines initially prevented fire fighters from gaining access to the building, but they were eventually able to begin fighting the blaze.

Currently, the fire remains isolated to two houses.
