SAN ANTONIO —Mother’s Day is quickly approaching, and although restrictions in Texas are slowly loosening up, many people are choosing to spend time apart from their moms this year. 

If you want to show your mom how much you love and appreciate her without meeting in person, there are several local businesses offering treats and items to-go or via delivery to help you and mom practice social distancing. 

BAKERY LORRAINE - The Bakery is offering a Mother’s Day Dessert Box, which includes one red tart, one chocolate caramel tart, and one heart moonpie for $25. They are also offering a Mother’s Day Dinner that feeds four people. It includes a cassoulet, four house salads and a large strawberry shortcake for $45. Pre-orders must be submitted by May 3. Pickup days are May 9 and Mary 10 at the location of your choice. 

BISTR09 - Offering in-person brunch options. Seating is limited due to social distancing and sanitization guidelines. Reservations can be made online and are limited to 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.

BRISCOE WESTERN ART MUSEUM - Offering three membership specials. All packages include a certificate to be redeemed for membership and special gifts depending on what membership you purchase. Memberships range in price from $65-$140. 

CARMENS DE LA CALLE - Offering a Mother’s Day paella curbside. The portion serves one hungry appetite and includes a lemon wedge and toasty bread slices.

CHOICOLATE ARTISAN CHOCOLATES - For the mom with a sweet tooth, consider getting her gift box of hand crafted chocolates. Order online and get 10 percent off with the code “PICKUP.”

COPA WINE BAR & TASTING ROOM - Offering Mother's Day brunch kit available for curbside pick up Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. The kit includes everything for an amazing brunch that feeds four to six people, including mimosas for only $50+tax.
