SAN ANTONIO – Dr. Alexandro M. Flores submitted his resignation as Superintendent of Schools for the South San Antonio Independent School District Tuesday. The resignation takes effect immediately.  

Flores has been with the district less than a year.

In a statement, the district said the Board will soon begin its search for a new Superintendent.
