TEXAS – H-E-B voluntarily issued a recall in select stores for half-gallon strawberry Creamy Creations ice cream on Wednesday evening.

• Metal from processing equipment
• Nearly a dozen stores affected in Central Texas
• No injuries or reports from customers

According to the grocery provider, the ice cream was recalled for potential metal from processing equipment. It was found during a routine product inspection.

To date, there have been no injuries or reports from customers.

The recall does not impact Central Market, Houston, or Mexico. There are nearly a dozen stores affected between Austin and San Antonio.
