SAN ANTONIO – Central Catholic High School, just north of downtown, revealed and blessed their new $12 million facility on Saturday.

  • Multi-purpose building
  • 40,000 square-feet
  • Full-size competition gym

The multi-purpose building is 40,000 square-feet and will be used for several activities for students and the community.

School leaders say the students will now have locker rooms for all athletes, as well as a full-size competition gym and weight room.

The new chapel will also serve as a space for not only students, but also community weddings.

The president of Central Catholic says the convocation center has been in vision for the school since the 1980's.

“We don't just have a building; we have a campus. We want that campus to be something that brings joy to people, brings energy to this area, but also first and foremost, really shapes the young men that are here at Central Catholic,” Central Catholic High School President Paul Garro said.
