SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio police say one person was killed when a pickup truck hit an 18-wheeler and went under it Friday morning.

The crash occurred about 5:54 a.m. in the area of Ackerman and Dietrich roads, just northwest of Interstate 10.

Police said that according to the driver of the 18-wheeler, he was making a delivery to a warehouse when his rig was struck by the pickup truck, which was being driven at a high rate of speed.
