SAN ANTONIO -- Police are looking for a suspect and a stolen vehicle following a shooting that took place early Wednesday morning.
- Shooting took place about 1:23 a.m.
- Victim shot 3 times and vehicle was stolen
- Police located victim outside Page Middle School
According to police, the victim, a 49-year-old man, went to a friend’s house, located on Cosgrove Street.
The friend produced a gun, and the two drove to the area of Thomas Nelson Page Middle School, located near the intersection of Yorkshire Place and Berkshire Avenue, just north of the Interstate 10 and Interstate 37 interchange.
It was there, police said, the victim was shot three times, sustaining injuries to the hand and thigh. The shooting took place about 1:23 a.m.
The victim walked to the front of the school and waited for help. The shooter fled with the victim’s truck, a Chevrolet Avalanche.
The victim was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center and stabilized.
