SAN ANTONIO – A group of young teens were pursued by Castle Hill police early Friday morning, leading to them chasing their vehicle into an apartment building.

  • Officers turned their lights on a vehicle
  • Vehicle fled and ran into an apartment building
  • Driver was chased on foot by police

According to officers, police noticed a suspicious vehicle around 2:09 a.m. in the 6000 block of Blanco Road. Officers turned their lights on the vehicle and the driver took off without his headlights on. The driver crashed into a unit of the Hudson Apartments.

The driver then fled on foot. Two passengers were apprehended by Castle Hills and San Antonio police.

The officers chased down the driver but it is unknown if he was apprehended.

The San Antonio Fire Department was able to remove the vehicle from the building.

Both passengers, 13 years old and 14 years old, were released to their parents.

No injuries were reported.
