SAN ANTONIO – An argument between family members ended with a man being shot dead on the East Side Thursday morning.

According to Chief William McManus, a fight started between two men in the backyard of a home in the 400 block of Dorie Street around 10 a.m. The fight led to one man being shot multiple times in the upper torso and the head.
One man was in his 50s and the other was in his mid-to-late 60s.
Police are unsure what the fight was about.
There was another man in the house but was not able to give significant information.
McManus said neighbors are in shock that it happened.
The suspect is in custody.
