SAN ANTONIO – A man was hit by a car while he was playing with a 6-foot-long snake in the middle of a street on the North Side Monday night.

At 10:13 p.m. a man in his 30s spotted the snake in the street on East Mulberry Avenue, near U.S. 281.
While he bent over to play with the snake, the man was hit by a truck.
The man suffered minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital.
The driver who hit the man is not expected to face any charges.
