SAN ANTONIO – The Special Olympics Summer Games are coming to the Alamo City.

  • Kicks off Thursday morning at The Alamo
  • Presented by foundation behind Morgan's Wonderland
  • 4 days of dozens of competitions throughout the city

Events kick off on Thursday morning with the Law Enforcement Torch Run at The Alamo.

This year’s games are presented by The Gordon Hartman Family Foundation, the group behind Morgan’s Wonderland.

 

 

 

Through the next four days dozens of competitions will happen at local stadiums.

Nearly 3,000 athletes from across the state will be in San Antonio for the games.

The games wrap up on Sunday with a track and field event.
