SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio Fire Department paramedic has been arrested, accused of trying to pull a woman from a moving vehicle over the weekend.
Deputies responded to a call late Saturday in the 7100 block of New Sulphor Springs, which is located in far Southeast Bexar County.

Preliminary information from police said Uhr assaulted a female and possible the child she was holding. He initially barricaded himself and refused to come out but then did come out and was arrested without further incident.
Bexar County Sheriff's Office has charged Barry Uhr with assault causing bodily injury, a misdemeanor.
Uhr has been with the department for 17 years and is currently off-duty.
