Christmas Day will feature cloudy and gloomy skies, but at least we will spend the drying out. After Tuesday's storms, we are cooler and less humid today with high temperatures in the mid-to-upper 60s. However, this is weather won't last long.

We are already watching our next storm system that will bring widespread strong to severe storms to North Texas. We will start Thursday with some light rain and clouds. By mid-morning moderate rainfall matched with gusty winds and large hail will be possible. I am also concerned with flooding for the areas that received so much rain yesterday.

The storms will end late in the day.

We will turn the faucet off and turn warmer heading into the weekend.
