Our atmosphere has stabilized, but moisture remains over much of Texas. This means areas of dense fog are likely in wet areas the next couple mornings. But overall, the pattern will be much calmer today and tomorrow with plentiful sunshine.
Highs today will reach the low 80s in North Texas, mid-80s for central areas and upper 80s and low 90s in South Texas and along the Rio Grande.
Isolated thunderstorms are expected tonight into Sunday morning. Due to the expected low coverage, not everyone will see storms, but those that do may experience hail.
Due to lingering moisture, most areas will have a low chance of rain, mainly sprinkles or light showers in the morning hours and more sunshine in the afternoon.
After a pleasant Monday, a pattern shift will bring multiple chances of rain and thunderstorms beginning late Tuesday through the end of next week. Currently, conditions look to be favorable for strong to severe thunderstorms Tuesday night through Wednesday night. Rain chances should stick around until next weekend.
