DALLAS — March is Women’s History Month and there are several events taking place around the metroplex celebrating notable women. Below is a list of things to do around North Texas.

Phenomenal Women: Pop-up Market

The market is spot lighting DFW local small businesses owned and run by women. The event will include vendors and fun crafts for all ages.

Women’s History Month Vendors Market

The market will feature over 20 amazing women-owned businesses from our community. Live entertainment by the talented DJ Soul Sistas.

March 5 at AT&T Discovery District

Sofar Sounds Dallas / Fort Worth Concert - Women’s History Month

Sofar creates intimate music experiences in unique spaces. Guests can discover 3 artists.

March 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Fair Park

Women’s History Month Celebration

Programing will feature a speaker, vendors, entertainment, door prizes and more.

March 11 at 4 p.m. at 1300 Wilson St., Denton, Texas

McKinney Free Historic District Tour - Women’s History Month

Visit McKinney offers free historic district walking tours. A snack and water are provided and we suggest participants wear comfortable walking shoes. All tours leave from the visitor center at 200 W. Virginia. If you have questions, reach out to the visitor center at 214-544-1407 or via email.

Precious Memories Pendants

Adults can create a free photo pendant necklace. Bring your own photo or choose from the featured selection of notable women in history we provide. 

This event is free for adults, no children please. Registration required.
