The National Hurricane Center began tracking a disorganized cluster of showers and thunderstorms over the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday. It came ashore Sunday night.
The chance for development is now essentially zero, but the system will keep parts of the Southeast wet over the next day or two. Some gusty winds are also possible.
