While the disturbance near Bermuda became Subtropical Storm Ana this morning, the low pressure near the Gulf Coast ran out of time to develop into a tropical system.
The swirl of low pressure came onto land this morning, so the National Hurricane Center now says the system has no chance of developing into an organized tropical depression or storm.
Regardless, it'll bring local downpours and gusty breezes to parts of Texas this weekend.
