After reaching the hottest temperatures so far this year, with afternoon highs ranging from 98 Austin to 100 Marble Falls on Sunday, a cluster of severe storms blasted through the region with hail, high winds, and heavy rainfall.

Fortunately, it was a relatively brief event but it certainly made a mark.
