Friday features cloudy skies and cool temperatures as a weak area of high pressure has trapped some moisture over Central Texas. With light northeast winds, cool air will persist through late Friday. Look for highs to reach the middle 60s Friday afternoon will low and middle 50s overnight into Saturday morning.

Low level winds slowly shift southeast early Saturday, allowing slightly warmer, more moist air to move into the area. This will push temperatures into the low70s for Saturday afternoon, but also add some instability, promoting a few scattered showers both Saturday and Sunday.

Look for mostly cloudy skies otherwise with lows Saturday night closer to 60 degrees and highs Sunday in the middle and upper 70s.

Another cold front approaches with a chance of rain by midweek next week. More details in the 7 Day Forecast.
