AUSTIN, Texas — The Longhorns are stacking their team to prep for their entrance into the SEC. Texas landed three-star tight end Will Randle out of Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans.
According to 247 Sports, the 6-foot, 3-inches, 220-pounder is the 35th best tight end in the nation and one of the top 25 players in Louisiana.
Randle chose the Longhorns over other strong contenders, including Alabama, Miami, Florida State and LSU. He is the sixth recruit to join the Class of 2023.
Randle’s commitment will benefit Texas in the Arch Manning recruitment, according to Longhorns Wire, as the two are high school teammates and have also toured several colleges together.
