  • Former First Lady Michelle Obama spoke talking about how "hope is making a comeback. She also touched on her belief that Vice President Kamala Harris is "one of the most qualified people ever to seek the presidency," citing this integrity as a tribute to her mother, Kamala Harris' mother and "probably your mother, too." 
  • The last speaker of the evening was former President Barack Obama who spoke to President Joe Biden's legacy and his friendship. He then discussed passing the torch to Kamala Harris saying, "American is ready for a new chapter ... ."
