Annika Pergament is an Emmy Award-winning news anchor at Spectrum News NY1. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a master’s from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, and her tenure at NY1 spans nearly three decades. She currently hosts a weekday newscast from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Prior to her afternoon show, Annika was the co-anchor of Mornings On 1, the station's weekday morning show, where she also held the title of Senior Business Anchor, regularly interviewing entrepreneurs, business owners and CEOs. As a veteran New York City journalist, she has covered the biggest stories impacting the city, including the terror attacks on Sept. 11, the financial crisis of 2007-2008 and the COVID-19 pandemic. Her investigative series probing the city's Administration for Children's Services uncovered numerous shortcomings in the city agency tasked with protecting the most vulnerable children.

Beyond her television presence, Annika has appeared as herself in dozens of movies and television series, including "The Sopranos," "Law & Order: SVU," "Mr. Robot," "Gossip Girl," "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" and "Non-Stop."
