TEXAS — Approximately 38 car accidents have been reported across Amarillo on Friday, according to Texas DPS. The scene is still being investigated, so there is not an exact number yet.
As of Friday around 6 p.m., no life-threatening injuries have been reported as a result of the crash.
A dust storm caused low visibility and high winds across the city of Amarillo, resulting in crashes in Randall County.
Due to poor visibility, the Texas Department of Transportation strongly advises against traveling through the Amarillo area.
