AUSTIN, Texas — Due to a pipe break and water leakage at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, ticket counters west of United are temporarily closed.
Passengers of British Airways, Lufthansa and KLM can check-in to the east side of the ticketing counter.
Water was leaking from the ceiling and air vents located behind the JetBlue and British Airways counters.
The water leak has stopped, but the airport crew is cleaning up the mess and investigating what caused the pipe to burst.
Airport travelers are advised to be cautious, follow signs and heed staff directions.
While the ticketing area had problems, other airport operations remained unaffected.
