Reported MS-13 gang member arrested in Lakeway

TEXAS — A reported MS-13 gang member wanted for homicide by El Salvadorian authorities was arrested by police in Lakeway.

Luis Manuel Hernandez Bonilla got stopped for having faulty brake lights on his vehicle. Hernandez Bonilla was apprehended by the officers without any trouble once they identified him.

Lakeway Police Department said, “The Lakeway Police Department is dedicated to unsurpassed safety and service to our community through various law enforcement methods, including traffic enforcement and criminal interdiction.”

Lakeway is located approximately 16 miles to the west of Austin. Home to more than 19,000 residents, the city is situated next to Lake Travis.
